Archimandrite Zacchaeus translates the Patriarch's words:
| I welcome
you on your pilgrimage to Russia. It is good that you come to visit
the holy places and to pray together with the Russian people. It is
especially good to have you with us on this feast of the Kazan Icon of
the Theotokos which is both so dear and so important to the Russian
people. I have heard about the spiritual accomplishments of your
monastery and I will pray for God's continued blessings upon your
brotherhood. Furthermore, I pray that the saving protection of the
Theotokos will keep safe and increase in God's Grace both our lands. - as recalled by the monastic brotherhood |
